Banks have come a long way from delivering services via the lone brick and mortar channel to a multiple channel strategy, where optimized individual channel strategies are key to ensure a high uptake of service offerings. A key piece in the overall channel strategy is mobile banking, which has been in focus in the recent years owing to increasing smartphone penetration and availability of high speed connectivity options.
